Your career path: from office-based to field-based
At Caldic Techniek Belgium, we believe in tailored growth. You’ll start as an Internal Sales Engineer, where you’ll build the technical knowledge and sales skills you need to transition to a field sales role. After a successful onboarding period, you can advance to Technical Account Manager or Outside Sales Engineer.
Are you already working in a technical sales role and ready for the next step? Then this position is a great opportunity. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the entire internal sales process. From quotes to invoicing and follow-up: you’ll keep track of everything and ensure smooth processing and satisfied customers.
Phase 1 — Internal Sales Engineer (In-house)
In the initial phase, you will be a key member of our team
- You will handle the entire back-office process: quotes, order processing, invoicing, and follow-up
- You will be in daily contact with customers and suppliers
- You will build and actively maintain relationships
- You will become familiar with our product range, including alternators, generator parts, couplings, chains, gearboxes, and timing belt drives
- You will work closely with colleagues in the office, warehouse, and the Technical Account Manager
- You will follow up on quotes and convert them into actual orders
Phase 2 — Transition to the field (after approximately 12–24 months)
Have you gained enough knowledge and experience? Then it’s time to make the move to the field
- You’ll visit clients and prospects
- You’ll continue to expand your own client portfolio
- You’ll identify opportunities in the market and actively capitalize on them
- You’ll advise clients on technical solutions on-site

Who are we looking for?
You have a business-oriented mindset and an affinity for technology. In addition,
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- You have a technical background (preferably in mechanical engineering)
- You have a good command of Dutch, English, and French
- You are proactive, self-reliant, and take responsibility
- You easily connect with customers and prospects
- You have an interest in drive technology or energy technology (preferred)

About Caldic Techniek Belgium
Caldic Techniek Belgium specializes in alternators, generator parts, and drive technology, such as couplings, chains, gearboxes, and timing belt drives. Our strengths lie in our technical expertise, dedication, and practical approach.
In addition, we work closely with our workshop in Rotterdam, where we develop custom solutions, such as modifications to generators and the production of timing belt pulleys according to customer specifications.
You will be part of a small, close-knit team consisting of two office staff members, a warehouse associate, and a Technical Account Manager.
