Poggi’s range of corner cabinets includes products with an aluminum as well as a stainless steel body. The available ratio is 1 to 1 , 1 to 2 or 1 to 3. Poggi’s angle enclosures can be used in a wide range of industries, including machine and shipbuilding, transportation, food and pharmaceuticals, paper industry and photographic applications.

The Poggi angle transmissions are available from stock from Italy, with sufficient quantities Poggi can also manufacture special versions.

The gearboxes are designed for an input speed (shaft A) of 1,400 rpm. This speed, together with the applied power, provides an average service life of about 10,000 hours. Gearboxes with reduction ratio can also be used as gearboxes, provided that 500 rpm input speed for ratio 1:3 and 750 rpm for ratio 1:2 are not exceeded.

For all 4-way and 3-way independent gearboxes with a ratio different from 1:1, the input shaft is A (fast), shaft C (fast) is the output shaft, and shafts B and D are slow.

Permissible temperatures for trouble-free operation of gearboxes should be between -18°C and +80°C (0°F and 170°F).

Precise mounting and control ensure low noise levels even at high speeds.

Controllable angular clearance between gear teeth remains within 15′ – 30′ for all standard gearboxes.

All units are factory filled with lubricant. Series 2000 gear units are lubricated with synthetic oil. Because they are lubricated for life, they do not require periodic oil refills or changes during the average life of the gearbox.

Thanks to the design form, gearboxes can be mounted in any position. However, one should pay attention to lubrication in case of a shaft in vertical orientation.
