The UHING-Z-drive

The Uhing timing belt module is a reliable and efficient solution.

This linear drive converts the rotary motion of a motor into a highly precise linear motion — efficient, robust and highly configurable for a wide range of applications. This linear shaft, featuring integrated pulleys and a toothed belt drive, is suitable for use across a wide temperature range from –10°C to +80°C.

Quick and easy to assemble

The basis of every Uhing timing belt drive is a bend- and torsion-resistant aluminium profile, which guarantees stability and durability. Thanks to several T-slots integrated into the support profile, flexible application is possible and installation is made considerably easier. Mounting blocks can be easily slid into place, ensuring quick and efficient fastening.

Power is transmitted from the timing belt to the carriage via a belt clamp that is securely attached to the carriage, ensuring reliable and consistent operation.

Sensors can easily be mounted by help of the T grooves.

As an option, we can fit the AZ 1040 with sensors. For example, the AZ 1040 can be fitted at the factory with two contactless, inductive sensors, which are adjustable lengthways and mounted on blocks in a profile groove.

Orientation of the motor

We can install the drive motor in three different orientations.

Facing upwards;
facing downwards;
parallel to the direction of travel.

The carriage runs smoothly on hardened guide rails

UHING uses round, hardened and corrosion-resistant guide profiles that are mounted on the aluminium base profile to ensure the carriage runs smoothly. Please refer to the brochure for dimensions.
